A Typical Foodie Break...
Arrive in time for an English Afternoon Tea, then maybe take a stroll or explore around the farm and meet the livestock, you could even collect your own eggs for breakfast! Perhaps you might rather look around the art studio or simply and unwind with a book. Time for a soothing bath and then relax around the farmhouse kitchen table in The Pantry at Harrop Fold Farm with a glass of wine and watch Leah create your kitchen supper right in front of you. She will talk about the delicious local produce she has sourced especially for the guests enjoying a Taste of Cheshire North West Regional Food Short breaks at Harrop Fold Farm. The next morning, wake to a delicious choice of Aga cooked breakfast, again all very locally sourced. Following this Leah will give a cookery demonstration maybe with some hands on help from those around! This food will be enjoyed for lunch.
During the afternoon if you wish to pursue the gourmet theme you might enjoy discovering for yourself some of the finest food of the region. A tasty Food Trail detailing locally produced foods and delicious English delicacies is available, and dates of the Farmers Markets are detailed along with routes. Perhaps you may prefer an afternoon of fresh air and walk one of the many footpaths from our door. However, you might simply wish to relax and enjoy our comfortable guests sitting room. Then it will be time to prepare for your evening treat. Your day will end with a delicious Cheshire dinner served in the English Oak dining hall. You will be welcomed with an aperitif and gifts from the kitchen, and this will be followed by a sumptuous 5 course Taste of Cheshire dinner, accompanied with wines selected especially for the evening, followed by coffee and our hand made chocolates.
