Let Lakeland Mountain Ventures provide a highlight in your trip to the Lake District.

Take on a challenge in awesome scenery and feel the sense of personal achievement from completing it. Try rock climbing, canoeing, mountain walking, scrambling, wild camping, or mountain biking.

Short Breaks
We can recommend accommodation and build your activity programme around your chosen location. We will provide a complete itinery for your 2-3 day programme, allowing for any 'free time' you request.

Activity Day
These are tried and tested programmes that take in the best locations and use 3 popular activities to fill a memorable day. Activities include gorge walking, abseiling and rock climbing/canoeing - in three different areas of the Lake District.

Wild Camping
The best way to get away from it all. We meet up around 1.00 and set off to the mountains. We pitch camp towards the end of the afternoon and have a hot snack before undertaking either a mountain walk, ghyll scramble, a rock scramble or a climb (or none of these if you just want to relax!). Dinner is cooked around 7.00 p.m. then just sit back and watch the stars come out!

On day 2 we start with a full cooked breakfast with all the trimmings before striking camp and heading back, arriving back at our start location around lunchtime.

Corporate Away Days
For more than 20 years we have provided corporate outdoor programmes for national and local companies. We currently provide programmes for departmental teams, management teams, and other groups of colleagues and associates.
