Description

Derbyshire Arts offers short-break residential art courses in a variety of media and Masterclasses in drawing, painting, photography clay raku and stone, wire and willow sculpture for all abilities. Pear Tree Farm is situated in a beautiful rural setting with the studio overlooking Lea Brook near Matlock in the Derbyshire Dales, England, UK.

Tuition is offered in a variety of media suitable for all levels of ability from the complete beginner to the experienced painter looking for new and innovative contemporary fine art techniques. Our tutors are internationally-respected artists Moira Arnold, David Bellamy,Joe Francis-Dowden, Charles Evans, Keith Fenwick, Pete Gill, Geoff Kersey, Jeremy Ford, Carol Hill, Hazel Lale, Roy Lang, Andrew Macara, Lewis Noble, Tim Rose, Emma Tooth, Michael Porter,Sue Sareen, Rob Wareing and John Wheeldon.

Courses include the following facilities unless stated otherwise:

- Tuition 10.00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m.
- All rooms are double or twin en-suite with power shower.
- Breakfast and Evening Meal
- Packed or Buffet lunch
- Hot drinks (available all day)
- Easels and boards

Accommodation

Please note all our newly built 9 rooms are double or twin bedded (1 is a family room which has a double and 2 single beds with a corner bath) and all are en-suite with power shower (2 rooms also have baths). All rooms have tv/video; drinks tray. We have a private car park, however, if you need collecting from public transport please let us know and we will do our best to help. We have a selection of videos, dvd's, books and magazines for your pleasure, either view in the large lounge or in your own room.

2 rooms are on the ground floor with wheelchair access, disabled facilities and walk in showers.

Residential Course fees include tuition, full board and single occupancy of a double/twin en-suite room
